Trumpeter Theo Croker Speaks Jazz History, Music Philosophy
Trumpeter Theo Croker spoke about the major contributions of his grandfather, Doc Cheatham , to the music form called Jazz and furthermore how his grandfather was so dedicated to the music that he died on the road. Croker spoke to working with prestigious artists like Ari Lennox, Jill Scott, Wyclef, J. Cole, and more. He pointed out some of the things that he appreciates about their musicianship and authenticity.
In spite of working with a number of musical legends, Croker discussed his own vision and philosophy behind creating his own music.
