Dennis Haywood

Recently Block Report Radio’s MOI JR Valrey interviewed Dennis Haywood, a homeowner whose house survived the Eaton fire that viciously burned Altadena and Pasadena’s Black neighborhoods, among other communities. Dennis talked about what he saw when he first approached his community in flames. He talked about people losing housing insurance right before the fire. Dennis discussed how Los Angeles landlords were stopped from price gouging by the government, and we lastly talked about what is needed most by survivors of these fires to help them pick up the pieces.
