Robert Glasper

Recently I interviewed the prolific Jazz, Hip Hop, and RnB master pianist Robert Glasper as he came through the Bay Area. We talked about the musical genius and impact of musicians like Miles Davis, Chick Corea, and Herbie Hancock. We talked about early jazz-hip hop fusion records like “Rock it” and Buckshot Lefunk. We discussed Glasper’s Black Radio series of albums and talked about him working with artists like Ledisi, Stokley of Mint Condition, Jill Scott, and H.E.R..
